Primary Lead Guide

3-6 Lead Teacher

  • August 15th, 2023 Start

GROW is looking to hire a Classroom Lead for our Primary class(3 to 6 years old) for the 2023-2024 school year. Eligible candidates must:

  • Understand child development and acts as a guide to help children find their own natural path 

  • Create a hands-on, self-paced, collaborative, and joyful classroom

  • Transform lives by implementing the principles of Montessori education

  • Believe in education that meets the child’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development 

  • Guide children to enthusiastically follow their interests and passions while developing strong academic skills, leadership, self-discipline, responsibility, and independence 

  • Have an AMI credential or be willing to train rigorously and graduate from an AMI Approved Training Center Such as MNW.

The candidate may be fluent in either English and/or Spanish. The 10-month position is Full Time, M-F.

 

The candidate must have an AMI 3-6 Diploma. An AMS or other MACTE credential is acceptable if the candidate is willing to start an AMI Diploma, which we will sponsor, within the first year.

​

Salary from $48,000+ based on Experience and Credentials, IRA with employer match.

Primary Assistant

3-6 Classroom Assistant

GROW is looking to hire a Classroom Assistant for our Primary Classroom(3 to 6 years old). 

Eligible candidates must:

  • Have an interest in child development and acts as support to the classroom lead guide.

  • Create materials for the lead guide as needed in order to their efforts to maintain a self-paced, collaborative, and joyful classroom.

  • Be open to learning about how to implement the principles of Montessori education.

  • Believe in education that meets the child’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development 

  • Guide children to enthusiastically follow their interests and passions while developing strong academic skills, leadership, self-discipline, responsibility, and independence

The candidate may be fluent in either English and/or Spanish. The position is Part-Time M-F from 7:45am - 12:45. The assistant’s primary responsibility is to support the teacher. Must be willing to take an AMI Approved assistant's course. 

​

Hourly: $17-$22/hr based on experience.

Toddler Lead Guide

15 months - 3 years old

  • August 15th, 2024 Start

  • Create a hands-on, self-paced, collaborative, and joyful classroom

  • Believe in education that meets the child’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development 

  • Guide children to enthusiastically follow their interests and passions while developing strong academic skills, leadership, self-discipline, responsibility, and independence
